Coach Darren Fletcher and captain Nathan Yates are rapt with the quality.
"We've had a great response from the best players in the competition.
"We hope to be really pushing for the provincial title after earning our way back to the top level last season," the Mt Clear teammates said.
The squad features first class, Victorian Premier, Victorian country representative and overseas experience, as well as some of the best performers in the BCA over the past decade.
Ballarat begins its preparation with an encounter against Gisborne at Darley Park on Sunday, December 1.
Country week will be played on February 17 to 21.
Ballarat earned a berth back in the provincial division by winning through to last season's division two grand final.
