Program founder John Moloney said the Cops n' Kids camp would be a fun and adventurous experience for the children and an opportunity for them to talk to other children in similar circumstances about their treatment and experience.
"The joy is riding on the bus with them and listening to how they talk to each other, the excitement they have and the great friendship that is created with the police members, volunteers and other children that come along," he said.
Mr Moloney said police cars would be escorting the children in black buses to activities at Sovereign Hill, Ballarat Wildlife Park, Lake Wendouree, helicopter rides at the airport and more.
The children will also get the chance to experience a ride in a police car with lights and sirens.
"It will be a whole lot of excitement," Mr Moloney said.
"We can't thank the people of Ballarat enough for the support they give us and the venues that open their doors."
Cops n' Kids runs with the support of community fundraising and donations and sponsorship from businesses.
Participating children will travel to Ballarat for the camp from around Victoria.
