City of Ballarat mayor Ben Taylor said it is great to give local artists an opportunity to showcase their abilities alongside national talent.
"It is great to see the extraordinary talent of Ballarat locals alongside the likes of Ali Barter," he said.
"Fifty percent of the Summer Sundays line-up in 2020 will feature local Ballarat artists... The calibre of artists performing at the 2020 event is testament to how highly regarded our Summer Sundays event is, and why it continues to grow each year."
The event will once again feature a collection of street food, beverages and opportunities to relax alongside the music talent on offer.
Summer Sundays will return to the Ballarat Botanical Gardens between 3.30pm and 7.30pm on the fifth, 12th and 19th of January.
