There are small delays ongoing on the Melbourne-bound lanes this evening between Bungaree and Wallace after a car hit a stationary road works truck.
Drivers are asked to expect some delays.
EARLIER: DRIVERS are warned of possible delays on the Western Freeway near Bungaree this evening after a car has collided with a 12-tonne roller truck stationed there for roadworks.
The incident is understood to be about 1km west of the Wallace turnoff, Melbourne-bound, and occurred just before 6pm.
It is understood there are no injuries as a result of the incident but police are on the scene as there are unconfirmed reports the driver of the offending vehicle may have fled the scene.
