Part of the organisation's yearly raffle in conjunction with the Ballarat and Sebastopol Lions Clubs, the Ballarat CFA has called on the community to help find whoever took the tickets.
Taking to Facebook on Tuesday evening, captain Mark Cartledge told the community in a post to only purchase further tickets from people in official CFA or Ballarat Fire Brigade gear.
The top prize of the raffle is $3000 worth of electronics and toys, with other prizes including a trailer, barbeque and various hampers.
If you are aware of who may have stolen the tickets, you are urged to contact Ballarat Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
