While the Spilt Milk revellers are out in force, there will be a few regular events at Victoria Park that will not be able to carry on - or will need to change location - due to the festival.

Here is what is happening to the parkrun, cricket fixtures, dog obedience club and Ballarat Pony Club, all of which would normally gather in the park at the weekend.
Parkrun: The normal 5km course in Victoria Park will not be available to use due to the festival. However, this weekend is a rare chance to do a parkrun by the side of Lake Wendouree.
Gather at the same time as normal (8am). The start and finish will be towards the south-western corner, of the lake, 100m from the toilets near Loreto College, with an out and back course heading clockwise then turning around.
If you are driving you are advised to park in the St Patrick's boatshed carpark or along Wendouree parade.
See the parkrun site here.
Cricket: Don't expect to witness anything smacking of the willow on leather this weekend. Lots of senior and junior matches have been scheduled elsewhere, while the 5ths are having a rest week altogether as a result of the Spilt Milk schedule.
See the Ballarat Cricket Association website for full details of fixtures.
Ballarat Dog Obedience Club
Normally a staple of the park on a Sunday, this time it will move for one week only to Morshead Park. It takes place at 10am. Note that due to the change in venue there will not be room for the agility program.
Morshead Park:
Ballarat Pony Club
To be confirmed, but this is, as far as we understand, taking place as normal within the Victoria Park grounds as its site is separate from the main festival grounds.
