Doug Hobson isn't planning any great changes in his new role as Central Highlands Football League president, rather focusing on sustained improvement for the competition.

Hobson has recently taken over the top job from Eddy Comelli, who had eight years in the position.
The 58-year-old worked closely with Comelli as vice-president throughout that term and is looking forward to continuing serving the league he loves.
"Basically the model we've got is working and if it's working you don't bother trying to reinvent the wheel," he told The Courier.
Hobson played football with Waubra and spent a long time on the Roos' committee before joining the CHFL board close to a decade ago. He is a life member of the club and league.
"Football for myself, it's a second family I spend six months of the year with," he said. "I reckon football has given me more than I've given it at the moment."
Former Dunnstown footballer Jaye Cahir and ex-Springbank president Anthony Simpson have just joined the board at the expense of Comelli and Brett Bryant. Other board members include Jarrod New (vice-president), Graeme Hammond, Paul Rogan and Paul Elliott.
