Ms Carty was the people's choice winner with 13.43 per cent of the total vote from our subscribers.
Ms Carty was the winner of the Contemporary Lady category at the Fashions on the Field event with her patented Alex Perry black leather skirt and white top taking the top prize.
The runner-up was Steve Gill with 11.94 per cent of the total vote in an outfit inspired by the late-night test pattern.
In all, the top 100 best dressed on the day were entered in the competition with Ballarat Courier subscribers asked to vote on who they saw as the best dressed.

And just for voting, subscriber Kristin Taylor has been picked out at random and has won four tickets to Ballarat's first Nitro Circus event which will be held on February 29.
