Two people were taken to hospital as a result of the blaze.
One was taken to Western Hospital Footscray, while the other was taken Ballarat Base Hospital. One is being treated for burns, the other is being treated for smoke inhalation.
Both are reported to be in a stable condition.
Fire investigators are looking into the cause of the fire.
ORIGINAL STORY
A building was fully engulfed in flames with two people taken to hospital following a blaze in Bacchus Marsh.
At least 10 fire units were involved in fighting the blaze, which first started about 3pm.
It is understood the fire started in a garage and then spread.
There are reports of at least one person suffering burns, with another needing treatment for smoke inhalation.
The fire took place on Holts Lane, which is just off the Western Freeway.
