A man, believed to be in his 80s, was taken to hospital following a two-vehicle crash at Canadian late this afternoon.

Emergency crews were called to the scene on the corner of Lal Lal and Larter streets about 5.30pm.
Initially it was reported the man was trapped in the car, but rescue teams were soon called off and the emergency code was downgraded.
An Ambulance spokesman told The Courier the man was in a stable condition.
