You Am I front-man Tim Rogers was announced on Friday as a performer on the third and final Sunday of the January program.
This comes after former Triple J unearthed winner Ali Barter was announced as the headline act for the first of the City of Ballarat's Summer Sundays events in the Ballarat Botanical Gardens on 5 January 2020.
Barter will be joined by Ballarat band Meraki Minds, who have also been announced for the opening weekend.
Rogers has been performing for the better part of the past 30 years, most notable in the rock group You Am I, as well as with The Bamboos and The Hillbilly Killers.
The full lineup of performances is as follows:
January 5 - Maylene Slater Burns, Charm of Finches, Meraki Minds, Ali Barter
January 12 - Ari Lane, Jayden Lillyst, Purr Usual, That Gold Street Sound
January 19 - Anna Bilbrough, Kee'ahn, Tim Rogers, Sunnyside
Ballarat mayor Ben Taylor shared his excitement as the events draw closer.
"The event provides an opportunity for our local artists to meet and collaborate with other metro/regional artists locally in our stunning Botanical Gardens," he said.
"This collaboration delivers on actions of our Live Music Strategy and Ballarat Events Strategy."
The events will run from 3.30pm until 7.30pm on each of the three Sundays, featuring an abundance of food and drink options around the gardens.
