Australian swimmer Josh Beaver joined the Ballarat Swimming Club to help celebrate a memorable 2019 in the pool.

The 2016 Rio Olympian presented a special banner to the club, capping off a successful year which saw the club crowned club of the year at the Swimming Australia Awards.
Beaver, who is also a two-time Commonwealth Games medallist, assisted at Thursday's squad training, before giving a presentation on setting goals and how to handle success.
Club President Shelly Bowen commented on the significance of being crowned club of the year.
"It is a very real reflection of the sustained commitment shown by all involved with the club, and we thank the clubs many partners and supporters," she said.
"The Ballarat Swimming Club looks forward to an enjoyable and successful 2020 in the pool."
