North Ballarat captain Leigh Lorenzen has led his side to victory over East Ballarat in a grand final rematch in the Ballarat Cricket Association.
The skipper made 84 runs off 101 deliveries in the second innings in a one-day clash at Northern Oval on Saturday.
The score formed the backbone of the 167 run-total for the Roosters, who ran down East Ballarat with two wickets in hand.
East Ballarat were dismissed with ten overs remaining in the first innings for 166.
North Ballarat's Ashley McCafferty was exceptional with the ball, finishing with figures of 3-21.
Meanwhile Golden Point upset Wendouree to stay within touch of the competition's top four.
The Pointies, 8-161, ran down the Red Caps, who finished 8-156 in the first innings.
Golden Point's Daniel White led the way for the run-chasers with 39, in what was a balanced effort.
Andrew Warrick proved a headache for the Red Caps, finishing with figures of 3-37.
Elsewhere Brown Hill upset Mt Clear. Napoleon-Sebastopol was unable to account for Buninyong and Darley beat Ballarat-Redan by 106 runs.
