Lachie Christopher and his partner Emily Hutchins will line up with the Cobras in the BFNL next season.
Christopher is the latest in a line of recruits from Mansfield in Goulburn Valley Football League, headed up by new playing coach Tom German.
Christopher is a past Mansfield vice-captain, while Emily Hutchins has Victorian Netball League experience.
Hutchins joins Mansfield teammate Maddie Smith, who also has VNL experience, in moving to Bacchus Marsh Marsh to play netball.
Smith is a partner of new playing assistant coach Ryan Bartlett.
Hutchins coached Mansfield's A grade side for the past three seasons and won the club's best and fairest this year.
Christopher is a bonus pick-up, making the decision to play under German owing to living and working in Melbourne.
German said as well as contributing through the midfield, Christopher would provide leadership.
"He's a good leader."
Christopher, who has been training with Casey Scorpions, also played in premiership with Sawtell Saints in Coffs Harbour in 2016.
He takes the number of players moving from Mansfield to Bacchus Marsh to four, who also include German, Bartlett and Jackson Kirley.
In a time of change, the Cobras have also attracted VFL-experienced Bryce Carroll.
