Peter Dohleguy, from Amphitheatre, pleaded guilty to five charges including threat to inflict serious injury, criminal damage and committing offences while on bail at the Ballarat Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.
Police prosecutor Senior Constable Steve Repac said Dohleguy threw a rock at a neighbour's car as they were driving past the front of his house on December 6, causing a mirror to break.
The court heard when the neighbour confronted him about the damages, Dohleguy grabbed a knife and threatened to 'chop him up', causing the neighbour to be fearful of being attacked.
Senior Constable Repac said Dohleguy then jumped the fence to another neighbour's property and threw bricks at the house window.
Dohleguy was arrested and remanded on December 6.
"He told police the victims have all caused this damage to stitch him up," Senior Constable Repac said.
Representing himself via a video link, Dohleguy said he regretted his actions and would be moving from the property as he had enough of the fights.
Magistrate Ron Saines sentenced him to 14 days jail, with 11 days already served.
"Smashing people's property up to get even is entirely unacceptable and is really quite childish," Mr Saines said.
"There are intervention orders in place and if you break any of those your jail sentence will be measured in months, not days."
