Event coordinator Adrian Tinetti told The Courier 417 runners from across Australia had been attracted to the annual Victorian Athletic League event.
The $2,000 100m Daylesford Gift is again the highlight of the meeting.
Other events can be entered on the day including the Volunteer's Gift and Camp Quality kids races. Racing will take place at Cricket Willow in Shepherds Flat.
Last year, John Hilditch claimed the Daylesford Gift in a quality field off a 17.75m handicap.
The 57-year-old beat Kristerfer Kardakovski and backmarker Paddy Turner, with talented Ballarat sprinter Mason Keast rounding out the top four.
Sunday's first race will be run at 11.20am. Entry is $10 for adults and $5 for concession card holders/children (ages 6-18).
The meeting is a fundraiser for Camp Quality.
