For the first year the swap meet will also feature a Show and Shine, allowing rev-heads to display their pride and joy vehicles for all to see.
The swap meet is a run by Carngham Linton Football Netball Club in conjunction with the Daybreakers Car Club of Victoria, and has rapidly gained popularity over the past few years.
Carngham Linton FNC secretary Michael O'Beirne said the annual fundraiser helped top up the club's coffers during the off season.
"This is the fourth one we have run and it has grown every year - it's amazing how popular swap meets are getting," Mr O'Beirne said.
"There are a lot of people out there doing up cars who want bits and pieces, and they tend to grab any opportunity to have a look around and see if they can find what they need."
About 90 per cent of stalls will stock automotive related items, with the remainder offering bric-a-brac. A canteen and barbecue during the day will help keep fossickers and stallholders happy.
Mr O'Beirne said the swap meet had become a handy fundraiser for the club.
"We decided on a swap meet for a number of reasons. Carngham Linton FNC were looking at fundraising opportunities and we had some members involved with the Day Breaker Car Club who suggested a swap meet as they were looking to put on a community event," he said.
"And this year we've added a Show and Shine. It's been quite a helpful fundraiser for the club. It gets the season off to a good start and gets some money in the bank over the off season."
The Snake Valley Community Swap Meet will be held at Carngham Linton FNC on Sunday January 12. Gates open to stall holders at 7am and to the public from 8am to 1pm. Adults $5, under 18s are free.
