The Wickers were second last on the table heading into the round 12 contest and upstaged their more fancied rivals by 28 shots.
Skippers Beth Huntley and Gerry Flapper both won rink battles for Creswick, while the clash between Bill Hetherington and Cameron Bryce ended in a draw.
The Wickers' success was just their fourth of the campaign.
Ballarat Memorial Sports remains on top of the ladder despite the defeat, but the gap on second-placed Buninyong has been trimmed to 10 points.
The Bunnies were emphatic winners in Monday's encounter against Clunes, prevailing 90-47. Despite the heavy loss, the visitors did have one rink up.
Elsewhere, Central Wendouree made the trip to Bacchus Marsh and proved too good for Avenue.
The Bears won by 17 shots overall.
Daylesford tried hard to fend off City Oval, but eventually went down 69-59, while the round's other victors were Midlands Golf, which clinched the result in Sebastopol.
Just six more home and away rounds remain until finals, which get underway on Monday, March 2.
