The absence of skipper Leah MacArthur proved no obstacle for the club, which comfortably dispatched Central Wendouree on its home turf on Saturday.
Webbcona skipper Nathan Mahney, who played in place of MacArthur, said it was good to get back in the winners circle after suffering a narrow loss to Victoria the week prior.
"It was a solid effort, we just had to knuckle down," he said.
"It was never going to be easy, so it was good to get home."
Webbcona manged two rink successes en-route to a 21-shot victory.
Tony Lang set the tone for Webbcona, leading his rink to a 14-shot triumph over Central Wendouree skipper Michael Kennedy.
The deficit proved the difference for Webbcona, establishing it as the pacesetter for the rest of the afternoon.
"Tony got us a nice little lead which took the pressure off the rest of us," Mahney said.
"We just had to keep our games close because he got us a bit of a jump.
"We didn't have to worry about chasing numbers and we could just keep it steady."
Mahney, reaffirmed his club's advantage with a eight-shot victory over Col Wright, while Barry MacArthur played Bears' skipper Col Johnson to a 20-20 standstill.
The win sees Webbcona leapfrog Ballarat Memorial Sports to claim third place on the competition table.
Mahney, said his team was in the hunt for contention.
"We're thereabouts," he said.
Meanwhile bottom-placed Mt Xavier have caused one of the upsets of the season with a thrilling one-shot win over Ballarat.
Mt Xavier skipper Chris McDonald's three-shot win over Wes Lennecke proved just enough to get his club over the line on Saturday.
Ballarat's Zac Stuwart defeated Phil McGrath by two shots, while Daryl Lamb and Tony Wood skippered their respective rinks to a draw.
The loss marked the first in a number of weeks for Ballarat, which entered the round five points clear of second-placed Victoria.
Elsewhere Victoria kept its hot start to 2020 alive with a 10-shot win over Sebastopol.
Sunny Haynes and Jess Thomas both skippered their rinks to victory. Kookaburras skipper Glenn Sargent's nine-shot win over Barry Clarke marked the only rink success for Sebastopol in what was a dark day for the club.
Learmonth also caused an upset, overcoming third-placed Ballarat Memorial Sports by 10 shots. The triumph marked the second in a row for Learmonth.
