Brown Hill's run of hot form has continued after defeating forth-placed Wendouree by eight wickets in the Ballarat Cricket Association.
The Bulls, 2-125, easily accounted for Wendouree's first innings score of 8-123 at Western Oval on Saturday.
Bulls co-captain Matt Sandford credited the win to a well-rounded day with the bat and ball.
"We've been saying for the last month that if we get it all going at the same time we'll be a good team, and we've done that in the last two weeks," he said.
A hot start forced Wendouree to the ropes at 3-20, before a partnership from Gavin Webb and Craig Jenkins steadied the ship for the visitors.
It was short lived however as Brown Hill's bowlers tore through the middle order.
Left-arm off-spinner Viraj Pushpakumara wreaked havoc for the Bulls, finishing with figures of 4-31.
"He was on fire, he's been good all year and it lets us rotate bowlers at the other end when we have bowlers like him," Sandford said.
Brown Hill carried its strong play into the second innings, chasing down the 123-run target with eight wickets in hand.
Tim Knowles, 57 off 50, formed the backbone of his team's run total in his second senior game of the season for the club.
"In white-ball cricket we would be silly not to pick him because he puts pressure on bowlers," Sandford said.
Meanwhile North Ballarat fell agonisingly short of handing Darley its first defeat of the season.
North, 202, fell just shy of Darley's first innings score of 205 after getting bowled out in the 47th over.
Darley opener Hayden Jamieson's knock of 70 led the way for the Lions. He was backed up by Danza Hyatt (56 off 72).
Elsewhere Golden Point's Josh White scored a century to lead his club to a five-run win over East Ballarat at Eastern Oval.
Mt Clear easily ran down Buninyong and Ballarat-Redan defeated Naps-Sebas.
