McArthur ran out of overs in his quest for a century in the day/night match on Saturday.
His knock, which featured 14 boundaries, guided the Emus to 8-233.
Luke Jackson's Kangaroos were in trouble from the outset - lasting just 29.3 overs for 93 runs.
McArthur was named man of the match.
Andrew Doolan, 24 (2 fours, 2 sixes), and Eric Duff, 16, shared an opening stand of 34 for the Emus then McArthur took over.
There were hiccups along the way - losing two wickets at 105 - after McArthur and AJ Griffin, 23 (4 fours) put on 54 for the third wicket.
The Kangaroos were unable to get any momentum going, being 2-5 then 5-18 and 8-26.
Riley Anthony, 38 (6 fours, 1 six), and Brad Adams, 26 (3 fours, 1 six) provided some respectability with 64 for the eighth wicket.
Paddy Graham claimed 4-15 off seven overs and Connor Palmer 3-11 off eight.
