Trained by Anton Golino at Cardigan, Dance Craze defied a powerful New Zealand contingent to secure the biggest win of her career last year.
Champion NZ driver Mark Purdon was in the sulky last year in his first and only drive on the mare.
This time her regular reinsman Glen Craven will be on her, while Purdon will be steering NZ hot shot Oscar Bonavena.
Dance Craze has further cemented her status as Australasia's best trotting mare with wins in three of her five starts this preparation, including a last-start win in the group 2 EB Cochran Cup in Ballarat.
Dance Craze (barrier eight) will start directly behind quick beginner Red Hot Tooth, with Craven facing the options of most likely landing three back on the pegs or attempting to angle into the running line one off the inside.
Oscar Bonavena is $2.80 favourite, with Dance Craze rated a $13 chance by tab.com.au.
Daylesford mare Margaret Ruth is emergency for the Great Southern Star.
Trainer-driver Anne-Maree Conroy will send Margaret Ruth around in the group 3 Vulcan Free-For-All. She won the Hamilton Trotters' Cup two starts ago and was a hard-finishing last-start fourth in the group 1 VL Dullard Cup.
