Saints football manager Greg Spratling confirmed the club was looking at playing a game in the twilight or night timeslot in either rounds one or three.
Carngham-Linton is scheduled to host Beaufort in the season-opener and Rokewood-Corindhap two weeks later.
Both games are locked in for Linton, which was recently the recipient of a major upgrade. Four 30m light towers were installed at the ground as part of a project worth more than $250,000.
Last year, the Crows unfurled their premiership flag in a special twilight fixture against Carngham-Linton to open the campaign. The Saints also unveiled their new playing jumper design in the round one encounter at Beaufort.
Linton is the Saints' home during the first half of the season before the club shifts its base to Snake Valley for matches in the back half of the year.
Spratling said the lights at Linton were used for training last year and would be easily good enough for fully-fledged games.
He said the club would also likely play a practice match at Linton under lights on April 4.
While an opponent is yet to be determined, it is set to be the Saints' third and final pre-season hit-out. They are booked to take on Maldon and are also going to play in the Trentham Cup.
Linton was home to a special Grenville Cricket Association all-star match on Australia Day, which was played party under lights.
Daylesford premiership player Clayton Scoble has taken over as Carngham-Linton's senior coach for season 2020.
Scoble was appointed to the role in October last year, taking over the position held in an interim capacity by Tom Sarah, who had replaced Matt Beaston following his mid-season resignation.
The Saints, which are looking to improve on their two wins from 2019, start the new campaign on Saturday, April 18.
