Lightfoot, who is well known for her time spent as mentor of the 19/under Ballarat Pride/Sovereigns teams, has accepted the role of head coach with the Grasshoppers.
She replaces Ruby Parry as A-grade coach and is also expected to have an active role with the Central Highlands Netball League club's junior program.
Rokewood-Corindhap netball manager Adele Nairn said the Grasshoppers "absolutely flourished" under Parry last season and that Lightfoot was in a great position to take that to the next level.
"It's been challenging for us in the Central Highlands but our club is absolutely determined to make the best of it and be competitive in this league, hence why we try to get all the right people in the right positions," she said.
"It's a real coup for our club and we are so incredibly grateful that Kerry has taken on the role and we can't wait to see where she takes us."
Lightfoot is currently completing a level five elite coaching course and is a specialist sport netball coach at Ballarat High School.
Players and supporters will have the chance to meet Lightfoot at the club's first official pre-season session on February 12.
Rokewood-Coriondhap finished the 2019 season in fifth spot on the A-grade ladder before being eliminated in the semi-finals.
The Grasshoppers will open the new campaign with a clash against Learmonth on April 18.
