Miller has lodged a clearance to join reigning premiers Waubra where he is expected to add some leadership and versatility to the team.
"I am really excited by the footy he can play for us," Waubra coach Matt James, who is a good friend of Miller, said.
"He's very versatile. I played with him at Redan and he will be a bit of a swing man is my prediction."
Miller is a past best and fairest winner with the Wickers and played 14 games for the club last year. Creswick finished the season in 13th spot.
Waubra is chasing back-to-back premierships in 2020 and will open its new campaign with a round one clash against Dunnstown on Saturday, April 18.
