The event, which was launched on Tuesday, asks teams to compete in para-sports, where they earn points for winning and additional points for raising funds for the national governing body.
Money collected will go towards Paralympics Australia's work to deliver athletes to the Tokyo 2020 Games.
"This is the first real roll-out of our partnership with Paralympics Australia and we couldn't be more excited," North Ballarat Sports Club chief executive Scott Seward said.
"The Para-Tough Cup is a unique initiative in Australia. Ballarat will be the first regional host for the community competition, only the second city in Australia to run the competition behind Sydney."
The event will be held at the Ballarat Sports and Events Centre on April 7.
