The clash against the reigning provincial grade champions had been scheduled in Croydon this coming Monday, but an agreement between the two teams has seen it shifted to the Eastern Oval.
BCA captain Nathan Yates said the GCA had some concerns about travelling to Croydon and had agreed on the match being played in Ballarat.
Yates said it was a big game for his side, which tuned up for the carnival by beating fellow provincial grade rivals Bendigo and District earlier this month.
"It will be great to test ourselves straight away and will be nice to play them in Ballarat instead of the usual game in Geelong on their home turf," Yates said.
"They have a great list and will be hard to get past, but if we can it could really set up our week."
The BCA will wear shirts with rainbow coloured numbers and play with stumps sporting a similar design to promote the league's values in inclusion and diversity.
Ballarat's games against Sale-Maffra and West Gippsland have also been moved. The battle with Sale-Maffra on Tuesday will now be played at Yarrambat War Memorial Park, with the encounter against West Gippsland on Wednesday at Ivanhoe Park.
The BCA moved back to the provincial grade by winning through to last season's division two grand final.
