William Gaynor told The Courier he was walking in the area when he stumbled across what he said was by far the largest amount of rubbish he has ever seen dumped in the area.
He labeled the act as disgraceful.
"I've lived in the area for around two and a half years and this is easily the worst I've even seen it," he said.
"People just have no respect for the land or the people that have to come clean up their mess."
The Courier witnessed the pile of rubbish, which looked large enough to take up an entire trailer-load and let off a foul smell.
Mr Gaynor said rubbish dumping in the area is not uncommon and ruins the space for residents.
"A lot of people come through this area with their dogs and it makes the area feel unsafe."
He suggested if the dumping continues, he would consider setting up hunting cameras to capture people in the act.
In the end, Mr Gaynor added he believed the act was 'stupid' as the bill for cleaning the mess up will likely fall on the public.
"In the end it's the public who pays to clean this through our rates."
