The Ballarat Beer Festival is offering free entry to the event for the first 200 card carrying CFA members, and more than half-priced tickets for members after that ($20 down from $50)
Festival organiser Ric Dexter told The Courier he has thrilled to get the initiative over the line with the CFA so he could help give back in some way.
"We feel we need to show support for the valiant volunteers who risked their lives to protect others," he said.
This comes just days after the festival announced its partnership with Hawkers Beer on their new beer Heroes Gold, which would donate money towards bushfire relief with every keg and can sold.
A similar initiative was also just undertaken by Kryal Castle, who offered a free weekend for all emergency service workers over February 7 and 8.
The Ballarat Beer Festival will take place on Saturday at the North Gardens from 11.30am.
