More than 1000 competitors from across the state converged on Lake Wendouree for the Regatta on Saturday.
The regatta, held every year, marks the final opportunity for crews to showcase their worth before the annual Head of the Lake.
Ballarat Grammar won comfortably in the final after crossing the finish line in a time of seven minutes and 25 seconds.
The crew edged out Gellong College, which finished three seconds behind in a time of 7:28.
Ballarat Clarendan submitted an admirable effort to round out the podium in 7:33.
Ballarat High, which dominated the heat earlier in the day, took out fourth place, while St Patrick's College finished in last place from lane seven.
