Melbourne United's Sam Short and Cairns Taipans' guard Anthony Fisher will feature in the first round of action set to kick off in two weeks.
Sam Short and Melbourne United will face the Sydney Kings after cementing a postseason spot with a 19-point win over South East Melbourne on Sunday.
Meanwhile Fisher and the third-placed Taipans will head to Western Australia to face the defending champion Perth Wildcats.
This won't be the first trip to the playoffs for Short, who is in his third year of a development contact with Melbourne United.
But it will be the first taste of playoff basketball for Fisher, who cracked the Taipans roster before the season.
Fisher played for the Ballarat Miners in the SEABL competition before venturing to the far-north. Meanwhile Short is a current member of the Miners' NBL1 team.
