Pleasant weather proved advantageous for the Bears, who dispatched the table-toppers by seven shots on Monday.
The win all but guarantees the Bears a finals berth, who reside inside the top four.
Central Wendouree won two out of three rinks en-route to the impressive 66-59..
Col Johnson led the way for the club with a 15-shot triumph over BMS skipper Cameron Bryce. He was backed up by fellow skipper Tony Gutteridge, who edged out a four-shot victory over Jeff Ryan.
Ryan Bedggood's 12-shot over Len Vincent keep the game competitive for BMS in what was a dark day for the club.
Meanwhile Creswick defeated Clunes by seven shots, aiding its effort to avoid the bottom of the ladder. The club managed two rink successes in the match on Monday.
Gerry Flapper's rink produced an outstanding effort to overcome Rebecca Cooper by eleven shots. Teammate Beth Huntley led her rink to a six-shot win over Stephen Pope.
Daylesford's Sigrid Glasspool recorded the only victory for her club.
Elsewhere Avenue defeated Sebastopol. Midlands beat Clunes and Buninyong thumped City Oval.
