Bacchus Marsh police are continuing their investigations into four incidents, in which unknown offenders have taken copper wiring from a traffic signal site at Darley between Friday, January 31 and Saturday, February 8.
The wiring thefts have resulted in the loss of power to both traffic signals and street lighting in the area.
The thieves also left live wiring exposed, posing a risk to public safety.
Earlier this year police charged a 45-year-old Wyndham Vale male with theft of copper wiring and tools, as part of an operation targeting high-impact crimes.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential report online at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au
