Ballarat Grammar made it back-to-back boys' coxed four open division one titles, while Loreto claimed its second girls' division one crown.
And to cap it off, each of the head of the lake victories also locked in overall aggregates for the second year running.
Grammar will again hold the Harold Deveson Cup for the next year as the premier boys' school, while Loreto again gets its name on the JH Netherway Cup.
Ballarat Grammar and Loreto now go to the state championships in Ballarat on Saturday and Sunday with a high degree of confidence.
Loreto's only other head of the lake division one title came in 2017 - a decade after the school's rowing program was established.
If Loreto is looking for positive omens going into the state titles, it also won the Victoria championship in 2017.
Ballarat Grammar has won six head of the lakes in the past 10 years.
