The Courier Charity Fund partnered with Nitro Circus to provide 36 tickets for distribution by the Ballarat Foundation and Berry Street.
"Our aim is to provide tangible benefits to the local community," The Courier Charity Fund chair Steve Moneghetti said.
"The donation of tickets for children and their carers to attend the show is sure to brighten up the lives of those who too often miss out on opportunities such as these.
"I can see their beaming smiles right now and who knows what positive impact such an event could have on them in the future."
Ballarat Foundation chief executive Matt Jenkins said the foundation was proud to partner with The Courier Charity Fund.
"The great thing about our corporate partners is to leverage the relationships they have in the community," he said.
"This is a wonderful example of The Courier's connection with Nitro Circus that has allowed the opportunity for some local families to enjoy this wonderful experience."
Nitro Circus is expected to attract about 10,000 people to Mars Stadium on Saturday, during a big weekend for visitors to Ballarat, with the Ballarat Swap Meet and Walking Off the War Within also scheduled.
Nitro Circus spokesperson Nathan Brown said the live show in all cities was an opportunity to give back to local communities.
"If we can make a small difference in just one child, we will do whatever we can to make that happen," he said.
"When The Courier approached us to be involved in this particular cause, we couldn't jump at the opportunity quick enough. Thank you Ballarat for allowing us to be involved in this great community initiative."
The Courier Charity Fund is a sub-fund of the Ballarat Foundation that supports community projects through grants. Grant applications will be open later this year at ballaratfoundation.org
