The production bumped in to the theatre a week ago and the past few nights have been a series of full dress rehearsals ahead of the first of 11 performances that run until Sunday March 8.
Director Stephen Armati said the final run throughs of the production had gone well and the cast and crew could not wait to have audiences filling the seats of the newly-renovated theatre.
"It's looking and sounding absolutely fantastic," he said. "I'm so phenomenally proud of what we've put together and ticket sales are reflecting that."
There are a handful of tickets left for the first four shows on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights and the Sunday matinee, with better availability for next week's shows.
"It's really wonderful - it's about the show and about getting back to Her Majesty's Theatre as well," he said.
