A group of daredevils, who will perform in Ballarat on Saturday for the opening night of their world tour, joined a group of young competition winners for a high dive off the Calambeen Park lake tower.
While the youngsters were keen to show off their skills on the high jump, for the Nitro crew, a jump without their bikes, into the unknown depths below proved a little bit harder to convince.

New Zealand 'Warrior' Jed Mildon was one who was keen to take the plunge.
"I'm used to swimming at home in a lake that's 11 degrees all year long, I reckon this is about 20 degrees, so I reckon it's perfect.
"It's great to come out here and have a laugh and meet some young fans.
"They are out and enjoying it, something like this is great for their confidence."
Firmly on dry land, Perth's Todd Meyn said Nitro Circus would see 20 of the best athletes in action sports take to Mars Stadium this weekend.
"It's the craziest two hours in action sports," he said.
"We have the motorbikes, scooters, skateboards, a bunch of contraptions we put wheels on and send down a 50 foot giganto-ramp, things that shouldn't go down there.
"Pretty much we just push the limits of action sports and do some things that no one has attempted before."
Nitro spokesman Nathan Brown said as this was the first show in six months, new tricks were likely to be seen for the first time.
"There's an energy not just from Ballarat but from all our crew to be together again," he said.
"It's almost the longest gap we've had between tours since we started in 2010. All the guys have been working hard in their training compounds at home. Even us as organisers don't really know what to expect on Saturday.
Competition winner Leanne Rieniets said her grandchildren had been talking about meeting their heroes for days.
"We're all going, it's going to be very exciting," she said.
"This will be the first one I've seen. It's unbelievable for the boys, and suddenly I'm the coolest nan ever."
