The school will compete against the state's best this weekend in a bid to win its third state division one coxed four crown.
It will compete against three Ballarat schools, as well as Haileybury, Lauriston, Toorak and Wesley College at Lake Wendouree.
While pleased with last week's result, Loreto College spokesperson Taylah Blake said this weekend will be a whole new ball game.
"We're humbled and remembering that this weekend is a huge step up against Melbourne and Geelong programs," she said.
"We'll follow the same plan and execute the same as we did on Sunday and hopefully everything goes in our favour."
Loreto was the dominant victor at last week's Head of the Lake regatta, beating out Ballarat Grammar, Ballarat Clarendon and Ballarat High School.
It will look for its third division one crown in four years this weekend after claiming top honours in 2017 and 2018.
"The last couple of years we've been getting a bit of traction at states, but it's a different game every year," Blake said.
"We are encouraging the girls to attack it with the same intensity we brought to Head of the Lake."
