Darley defeated Mt Clear by six wickets to clinch the Ballarat Cricket Association Twenty20 cup.
It was the second T20 title in three years for the Lions, who ran down the Mounties' 7-110 with 14 balls up their sleeve.
Darley coach Brian Wheelan said it was the best his team had bowled all year.
"It was really set up with the bowling and the fielding," he said.
"To restrict them to 110 on a pretty good wicket was great. We pride ourselves on our fielding and we do a lot of work, and for that to pay dividends really set us up."
A stellar first innings set the tone for Darley.
Early scalps to off-spin opener Hasitha Wickramasinghe placed pressure on the Mounties, who were unable to secure a lasting partnership.
The Lions capitalised with the bat, with opener Anthony Taylor whacking 34 of 19 balls to start the innings.
A conservative run-rate was all that was needed thereafter to achieve the target.
"To host the final and to get and the support we had was great," Wheelan said.
