Quinlan will be back in yellow and back after four years with the BFL powerhouse.

The experienced swingman has spent his football career back and forth between the East Point community and Springbank.

He played juniors with East Ballarat and went on to captain Springbank to a premiership in 2015.

Quinlan made the bold move to join East Point as a 27-year-old in 2016 under coach Glenn Wilkins.

Quinlan said at the time that leaving Springbank was one of the toughest things he had to do, but wanted to part of East Point's first premiership.

"You always want to push yourself," he said.

He achieved his objective, playing in a senior premiership with the Jake Bridges-coached Kangaroos in 2018.

Quinlan played only three senior games for the year - all finals.

He was unable to break into the senior line-up last season, which was another premiership campaign for East Point.

However, he did win the BFL reserves best and fairest award after finishing third in 2018.

In other East Point player movements, promising youngster Nick Canny has relocated to Melbourne with employment and is set to continue his football in VAFA.

He has been cleared to Collegians.

Canny made his senior debut with East Point in 2018, playing two games, and doubled his tally in an interrupted season last year.

Lively onballer Jake McQueen has committed to East Point full-time - deciding to end his VFL career with Essendon.

McQueen spent three years in the VFL, with the Kangaroos his home club after originally coming from Nhill in the Wimmera.

He played with North Ballarat Roosters in 2017 and was then picked up by the Bombers.

The two-time East point premiership player made 11 appearances for Essendon 2018 and just four last year.

BEN Schiltz and Tom Watson have returned to Redan.

Schiltz is back after a handful of games with Gordon in the CHFL last year.

He had just one season with the Eagles after being a regular for Redan, as an attacking defender.

Watson went back to his home club Cobden in the Hampden league last year.

He previously had an injury-interrupted five seasons with Redan.

BROTHERS David and Michael Callus are on their way back to Melton South under coach Heath Pritchard,

They finished second and third respectively behind former Bacchus Marsh player Daniel Foley in Melton Centrals' best and fairest last year.

Michael Callus last played with the Panthers in 2018, after which he made the switch to play alongside brothers David and Joe.
