Shaun Finlayson, who was part of the Demons' breakthrough flag in 2014 under Greg Middleton, has decided to join his former coach at the Emus.
Middleton said Finlayson had been recruited as a defensive line coach and didn't expect him to have a playing role in 2020.
Finlayson played a total of 15 senior games for Bungaree last year.
Skipton is looking to build on its breakthrough finals appearance in 2019 when it became the first former Lexton Plains league club to participate in the CHFL senior playoffs. The finals series was short-lived, however, with a loss in the opening week to Hepburn.
The CHFL board is set to meet on Monday to discuss the upcoming season which has been delayed until at least May 31 due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
