It is believed up to four offenders with a vehicle and trailer attended a Ballan Road premises on three separate occasions between the hours of 1am and 5.30am on March 7, 8 and 9.
Across the three mornings, they took four large rolls of aluminium worth a significant amount of cash.
Geelong Crime Investigation Unit detectives have released an image of a vehicle and trailer believed to have been used during the offences in the hope someone recognises them and can provide information.
It is believed the vehicle may be a dark-coloured, late-model Ford Ranger.
At this stage police have not been able to determine whether the ute was previously stolen.
Anyone with information or who may recognise the vehicle is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential report online at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au
