The adventure playground at Lake Wendouree, the inclusive play space at Victoria Park, and the playground at the Eureka Stockade have been fenced off.
Off-leash dog exercise areas have also been closed, but parks and reserves where dogs are required to be on a leash are still available to use.
In a statement, a council spokesperson said the measures were in line with responsible social distancing and limits on outside gatherings.
"Failure to adhere to the closure may result in fines and/or further penalties," they added.
Other council buildings, including libraries, art galleries, museums, and the aquatic centre, were closed last week.
