Ballarat trainer Archie Alexander takes a big team of five to the Bendigo Golden Mile race meeting on Saturday.
Import Haky heads up the team.
Previously trained by Englishman John Hammond, Haky is having his second start for the stable in the listed $150,000 Golden Mile.
The six-year-old is first-up since a sixth to Azuro in the Sandown Cup in November.
Alexander's other runners are Write Your Name in a benchmark78 handicap, 1300m; Madam Mischief in the $250,000 Bendigo VOBIS Gold Rush, 1000m; Mirette in the $125,000 Bendigo Gold Bracelet, 1400m; and Campese in the $150,000 Bendigo Guineas, 1400m.
Write Your Name and Madam Mischief are last-start winners.
A 2yo filly by Turffontein, Madam Mischief carried the Australian Thoroughbred Bloodstock colours to victory on debut in Ballarat on March 3.
