Wheels Australia in Howitt Street has been given the green light to remain open and is dedicated to do their part to assist their clients.
Part-owner Rod Hughes, alongside his son Paul Hughes told The Courier ensuring medical workers and other staff on the front line fighting COVID-19 could travel around the region safely was their top priority.
"We want to be there for them, we're here to do our bit," Rod Hughes said.
"If we were forced to close, there would be no one there to take care of the people that have to get in the car and drive to places like Castlemaine, Melton, Meredith to help people who need it.
"Thankfully we can stay open... we'll do everything we can to help our medical workers deliver the urgent care people need."
The business has already made adjustments to its day-to-day operations, including extra sanitisation and providing staff with personal protective equipment. Rod Hughes said he will continue adjusting to whatever is needed going forward.
"We're modifying the building to accommodate drive through customers and we're bringing in face masks and protective equipment to make sure we're being as sanitary as we can."
