As the Ballarat Greyhound Racing Club forges on during the COVID-19 pandemic, it has been left stunned by vandalism during its recent meetings.

BGRC chief executive Rod Ward said the club had closed some of its indoor toilets after the "malicious and disgusting" acts and was keen to find those responsible.
"...suffice to say the club is reviewing CCTV footage and has reported the acts to GRV. We hope to ensure that the person/s responsible is held accountable for their deplorable actions," he said in a post on Facebook.
The club, which is operating under a number of new hygiene measures, next races this afternoon.
With spectators already banned from attending meetings, last week Greyhound Racing Victoria brought in increased hygiene and social distancing measures. They included the removal of parading in front of the pavilion prior to each race, vetting dogs in outdoor areas where possible and a new box loading order.
