Murray has lodged a clearance to join the Maryborough Castlemaine District league club from Beaufort, where he played in a Central Highlands flag in 2018.
After returning from a stint with Lexton, the clever forward rose to prominence in attack with the Crows during 2016 and 2017 when he kicked 59 and 57 goals respectively.
He injured his anterior cruciate ligament in the 2017 grand final defeat by Hepburn before getting back just before finals the following year and playing in the triumph over Buninyong.
