James, who guided the club to the Central Highlands Football League premiership last year, has created a Facebook group for young Roos players. In here, he has posted a series of videos of drills to try at home or in the park.
"Being a teacher and having some time off I thought I could put it together to give the kids in our club some ideas or challenges that will help with their skills and footy," James said.
"When I started, I thought if one kid saw one activity and gave it a go it was worth my time. It might help parents get kids out of house and give some ideas of things they can do."
Members have been asked to post videos in the group showing off their attempts at the drills.
All local football and netball training and matches have been postponed until at least May 31 due to the coronavirus outbreak.
