Work is continuing for the hundreds of miners and contractors on-site, with extra measures including temperature screening on arrival, more hygiene, and separation of shifts.
Some workers have also been asked to work from home where possible.
The mask donation, for the emergency department and fever clinic, was made last week.
The mine's health and safety manager Leigh Searle said in a statement it was a "direct way" of supporting the community.

The media statement notes BHS is using between 800 to 1000 masks each day, and the additional masks would provide "additional days of protection against COVID-19".
Mr Searle said his wife was on the front line at BHS as well.
"BHS are extremely grateful and indicated that these items are in short supply," he said.
"Every mask donated will protect her colleagues, our community and my family."
