Like other leagues around the state, the CHFL is on hold until at least May 31 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but has flagged a re-start during June if permitted by government.
"I'm really happy with the way clubs are communicating with their members and thinking laterally about that," Hobson, who is in his first year as president, said.
"We're still optimistic about playing football, just not sure when."
Hobson said the next league board meeting was likely to be conducted online during April or as issues arise.
"Our board is in contact with each other and about to get Zoom or another platform to get meetings up and running (online)," he said.
